PPRS is a professional society of more than 150 active public relations professionals throughout Central Pennsylvania. Our members represent various types of organizations with expertise in all facets of public relations.

PPRS is conducting a series of surveys to learn more about its members and how PPRS can best serve them. The Membership Outreach and Feedback Committee will collect information on various topics ranging from general demographic information to ways to improve meetings.

The survey information is posted on both our Facebook Group and our LinkedIn Group. (Note that you must be a PPRS member to participate in these groups.)

PPRS Names New President

The Pennsylvania Public Relations Society (PPRS) has selected its new slate of officers for 2012 at its annual evening of honors dinner, including Mark O’Neill as its president. O’Neill, who is Media Relations Director of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, has been a PPRS member since 2004.

Other officers elected were vice president Kim Barger, freelance marketing and design specialist; secretary Joan Nissley, press secretary, PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs; and treasurer Quinn Bryner, account supervisor, Tierney.
