Welcome to the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society (PPRS).
We are a professional society dedicated to: Supporting and elevating the professional standards of public relations practitioners; Facilitating professional and social relations among public relations practitioners; and Disseminating professional information of benefit to individuals and the profession. PPRS welcomes PR practitioners across Central Pennsylvania from all industries – corporate, government, non-profit, agency, and trade associations – to join us for meetings and apply for membership.
2009 Meeting Schedule PPRS meetings are held the last Thursday of each month with the exception of July, August, October and December. All meetings have a professional development program following dinner, with the exception of the November meeting which is the PPRS Annual Evening of Honors. At this event, new officers are installed and the Ernest R. McDowell Award for Excellence in Public Relations and the Robert M. Fisher Membership Recruitment Award are presented.
