“Tell me with whom you associate, and I will tell you who you are.”
“Birds of a feather flock together.”
“You become like the people you spend time with.”
There are so many ways of saying it, and that’s because it’s true: the people you associate with influence your outlook and your future.
Here at PPRS, you couldn’t be in better company if you want to be successful and impactful in the communications industry. Every month brings new accolades and honors that reinforce the fact that we are home to the best and brightest in PR. Here are just a few:
- Betty Hungerford is being honored at Homeland’s 155th anniversary celebration for her contributions to our region.
- Suzanne Graney was named to Central Penn Business Journal’s Power 100 list.
- Danielle Gross earned a spot on the City & State Above and Beyond list.
- Roger Baumgarten is in the running for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year.
These are just the honors I’ve heard about in the past few weeks! As an aside, the problem with calling out particular people and honors is that I know I’m missing folks, so I encourage you to shout out your fellow members on social media, tagging @PPRSHBG and #PPRSHBG.
The adage is true: you become like those with whom you associate. So let’s continue to be the home for high-achieving, community-minded PR pros and celebrate each other’s successes.
