Amy Hill, APR has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Ernest R. McDowell Award.
The award recognizes individuals for sustained excellence in the field of public relations, in both the profession and the community.

Her previous positions include Director of Community Engagement & Advocacy at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, where she served as a voice of the community in the boardroom demonstrating the value of research, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Amy is committed to elevating our profession through countless hours spent teaching other professionals in APR boot camps, APR workshops, PPRS presentations, mentoring, and more.
Incredibly, Amy is also a Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Ridge Runner on behalf of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and stewards a 74-mile stretch of trail. She is a Past President of the Broad Street Market Board of Directors.
In her free time, Amy is active in her parish church and enjoys birdwatching and trail running.
The Ernest R. McDowell Award was established by PPRS in 1991. The award is presented in memory of the late senior vice president of marketing and corporate relations with Capital Health System.
